1. Scope and project identity
This Privacy Policy applies to PalBreed Planner, including its Palworld breeding calculator, Pal directory, guides, data notes, and contact page. PalBreed Planner is an independent, unofficial fan-made project. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or part of Pocketpair or any game platform.
“We,” “us,” and “the project” in this policy refer to the operator of PalBreed Planner. This policy does not cover official Palworld services, game platforms, external websites, advertisers, or affiliate merchants. Their own privacy notices govern information they collect.
2. Information the calculator does not require
The core calculator does not require registration, a user profile, a Palworld account connection, or a save-file upload. We do not need your real name, game username, password, payment-card number, or precise location to calculate offspring, search for parents, or plan a breeding chain.
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, account cookies, payment details, or complete save files through email. A calculator error can normally be investigated with Pal names, gender roles where relevant, a game version, a page address, and a screenshot that has been checked for private information.
3. Palbox and local browser storage
If you use the Palbox feature, the selected Pal identifiers are stored through your browser’s local-storage facility. This allows the list to remain available when you return on the same browser and device. The Palbox is not an online account and is not designed to synchronize between devices.
Local storage remains under the control of your browser. You can remove the Palbox by using any available clear option in the tool or by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Private-browsing modes may delete it automatically when the session ends. Browser privacy settings or extensions may prevent it from being saved. Because the list is local, the project cannot retrieve or restore it after you clear it.
Calculator selections may also appear in a page URL so that a result can be bookmarked or shared. Anyone who receives that URL can see the Pal names represented in it. These choices are game data and are not intended to identify you, but you should still review a link before posting it publicly.
4. Hosting logs and technical request data
Like nearly every website, the hosting and security infrastructure must process technical request data to deliver pages and protect the service. This may include an IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, browser or user-agent information, approximate region derived from an IP address, referring page, and security signals. Cloudflare Pages or another deployment provider may process this information on the project’s behalf under its own terms and privacy documentation.
Technical logs may be used to keep the site available, detect abuse, investigate failures, enforce rate or security controls, and understand aggregate traffic. Retention depends partly on the hosting provider’s settings and legal obligations. We aim to configure services so they retain only what is reasonably needed for these purposes.
5. Messages and support correspondence
When you contact the project, we receive the email address and name associated with your message, its contents, attachments, delivery metadata, and any information you choose to include. We use this information to read and answer the enquiry, investigate a reported result, maintain a record of important corrections, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Messages may be retained while a question or issue remains active and afterward when reasonably needed to document a correction, protect the project, or meet legal requirements. Routine messages can be deleted when no longer useful. Email providers process correspondence according to their own privacy terms. See the Contact page for the safest information to include in a report.
6. Analytics and performance measurement
The project may use privacy-conscious analytics or measurement tools to understand which pages are useful, whether calculator interactions work, how visitors reach the site, and where errors occur. Depending on the service and configuration, analytics may process truncated or full IP addresses, device and browser information, approximate region, referral information, page views, interaction events, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technology.
If analytics that require consent are enabled in a region where consent is required, the site should request that choice before placing non-essential cookies or sending the relevant data. Declining optional analytics should not prevent use of the core breeding calculator. Browser blocking tools can also affect whether a measurement request is sent.
7. Advertising, cookies, and similar technology
The site may display advertising, including through Google AdSense or another advertising provider. Advertising providers may use cookies, local identifiers, IP-derived information, browser details, page context, and interaction data to deliver, limit, measure, secure, or personalize advertisements. The exact processing depends on the providers enabled, your region, their settings, and the choices you make through a consent notice.
Where required, you will be offered a way to accept or reject non-essential advertising storage. Contextual ads may still be shown using limited information. Advertising providers act under their own privacy policies and may offer separate controls for personalized advertising. Blocking or rejecting advertising cookies should not change the mathematical breeding result, although it can change which ads appear or whether ad measurement works.
Essential storage used for security, load balancing, consent records, or a feature you request may be treated differently from optional analytics or advertising storage under applicable law.
8. Affiliate links and external websites
Some outbound links may be affiliate links. If you follow one and later make a qualifying purchase, the project may receive a commission without increasing the displayed price. An affiliate network or merchant can record the referral through a link parameter, cookie, or similar identifier. The external service decides what additional information it collects when you visit, create an account, or buy something.
External links are provided for convenience and do not extend this Privacy Policy to another site. Review the destination’s privacy notice and cookie choices before providing personal information. The presence of a link does not mean the project controls the destination’s data practices.
9. Purposes and legal grounds
Depending on where you live, privacy law may require a stated legal basis. We process information as necessary to provide a feature you request, answer a message, maintain security, and operate the site; to pursue legitimate interests such as correcting data, preventing fraud, measuring performance, and sustaining the project, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; to comply with legal obligations; or with consent for optional cookies and related processing where consent is required.
You may withdraw consent for future processing through the available consent controls. Withdrawal does not make earlier consent-based processing unlawful. Some limited processing may continue when another valid legal reason applies.
10. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell a Palbox or use it as an uploaded user profile. Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, security, email, analytics, consent management, advertising, or affiliate attribution; when required by a valid legal process; when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or the project; or as part of a transfer of the site’s operation, subject to appropriate protections.
Providers should receive only the information relevant to their role, but many internet services process technical request data independently. Some providers may operate in countries other than yours. Where applicable, cross-border transfers rely on recognized safeguards, provider contractual commitments, adequacy decisions, or another lawful mechanism.
11. Retention and security
Retention varies by category. The browser retains your local Palbox until you or the browser removes it. Hosting, analytics, advertising, and consent providers retain data according to configured periods and their own obligations. Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably useful for support, correction records, security, or legal needs.
Reasonable technical and organizational steps can reduce risk, but no website, email system, or internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. Use the calculator without sending sensitive information, keep your browser updated, and avoid sharing result URLs if you do not want others to see the selected Pal names.
12. Your privacy choices and rights
Your rights depend on your location and may include asking for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing; withdrawing consent; opting out of certain targeted advertising or data sharing; and complaining to a privacy regulator. These rights can have legal exceptions, and identity verification may be required before a request is completed.
You can clear the local Palbox through browser settings without contacting us. You can also block or delete cookies, use available consent controls, adjust advertising preferences offered by a provider, or enable browser privacy protections. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals may be recognized where required or supported, but not every third-party service interprets these signals in the same way.
To make a request about correspondence or project-controlled information, use the Contact page and begin the subject line with “Privacy request.”
13. Children’s privacy
The site is a general-audience game utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. The calculator can be used without an account or personal profile. If you are not old enough to consent to optional data processing where you live, use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian and do not send personal information by email.
If a parent or guardian believes a child sent personal information to the project, they may contact us to request review and deletion, subject to any information needed to locate the message and verify the request.
14. Policy changes
This policy may change when site features, providers, legal requirements, or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes should be presented clearly on the site or through another appropriate notice. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy, but new consent will be requested when the law requires it.
